Documents you’ll need
A valid DNI, NIE or passport (front and back).
A recent payslip, a bank statement, your scholarship award letter or your guarantor’s income.
If you have them to hand, they count in your favour. The Spanish employment history report (informe de vida laboral) can be downloaded free of charge from the Social Security website.
If you have someone who can back your rent, mention it in your booking request: it can help us accept it.

How to book
I’m interested. How do I book it?
Select ‘Request to book’, enter your dates and your details, and attach your documents. Sending the request costs you nothing and doesn’t commit you to anything.
Can I see the room before booking?
We don’t do viewings: at Hogariza the whole process is online. In return, we guarantee that the room you book is exactly the one you see in the listing photos. If you have any questions about the room or the flat, write to us and we’ll answer them.
What happens after I send my request?
We review it within 24-48 hours. If we accept it, we charge the amount held on your card (the first month’s rent and the management fee), your place is confirmed and we’ll write to you so you can sign the contract. The security deposit is paid when you sign.
When do I pay the security deposit and the remaining monthly payments?
You pay the security deposit when you sign the contract, and each following monthly payment every month during your stay. You’ll find the full breakdown under ‘Costs and monthly payments’.
